Cassidy McCurdy, MS, OTR/L, BCB-PMD-L

Welcome to the heart and soul of Pivotal Pelvis, where my journey intertwines with yours in our pursuit of optimal pelvic health. I'm Cassidy McCurdy, a proud Santa Ynez, CA native, whose path to becoming your dedicated pelvic health occupational therapist is as unique as the care I provide.

My adventure began right after high school when I embarked on a fulfilling eight-year service in the United States Air Force as a medic. This transformative experience took me across various landscapes, from Ohio to Texas, the serene fields of Idaho, and even the vibrant culture of South Korea. Each destination not only honed my medical skills but also deepened my understanding of diverse health needs, a perspective I bring into my practice today.

After my enriching military journey, I returned to the sunny shores of California, fueled by a dream that was waiting to be realized - to be an occupational therapist. I dove into this new chapter at Dominican University of CA, earning my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. This academic pursuit wasn't just about gaining knowledge; it was about preparing myself to change lives, including yours.

Now, nestled in the charming town of Petaluma, CA, I share my life with my spirited chihuahua, Bear. When I'm not passionately advocating for your pelvic health, you'll find me soaking in the simple joys of life - from tranquil Sunday morning walks with a cup of coffee in hand, to the thrill of fishing, the serenity of camping, and the laughter shared with friends.

At Pivotal Pelvis, my story blends with yours. Together, we'll embark on a journey towards healing, empowerment, and a renewed sense of well-being.

What makes Cassidy different than your
in-network pelvic health provider?

Most in-network pelvic floor providers give you 30 to 45 minutes, a rotating roster of providers, and a treatment plan built around the most obvious symptom. That's not how we work.

At Pivotal Pelvis you get:

  • 1:1 care with Cassidy every single visit — no handoffs, no surprises

  • A 90-minute initial full-body assessment that looks at the whole picture, not just the complaint that brought you in

  • 60-minute treatment sessions so there's actually time to do meaningful work

  • A provider with specialized training and continued education in treating adult men — including men in their 60s and older navigating the exact issues that come with age, surgery, and wear on the body

  • A plan built to address the root cause, not just manage symptoms
